Free Resources
Academic Performance and Tutoring Center
The Academic Performance Center offers a variety of tutoring services, such as face-to-face and online tutoring sessions, to the entire student body. We want to make sure that you receive personalized attention from tutors who have your unique challenges and academic goals in mind. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide targeted, one-on-one instruction at no cost to all Utah Tech University students.
Booth Wellness Center
Did you know that as a student you have access to physical and mental health services? The Booth Center is staffed with certified medical personnel dedicated to providing medical services to our students for a minimal cost. The Booth Center also has certified mental health specialists that offer therapy to students for free.
Career Services
Career Services helps you obtain the career of your choice at graduation by assisting you with self and career exploration, choosing a major, writing a resume, building your Handshake and LinkedIn profiles, taking career assessments, getting an internship or job shadow, and more.
Disability Resource Center
The Disability Resource Center is responsible for evaluating disability documentation, determining eligibility, and implementing reasonable accommodations for students who have disabilities that may affect their academic success.
UTUSA
Utah Tech University Student Association is constantly working behind the scenes to make things better for the students! If you’ve got questions about clubs, events, volunteer opportunities or even academics, these are the people to talk to.

Student Resource Center (SRC)
The Student Resource Center (SRC) offers comprehensive support to students, covering university policies, academic coaching, mentoring, and community connections to aid in successful postsecondary education completion. With a focus on basic needs, food assistance, and tailored resources for students with families, first-generation and non-traditional students, the SRC aims to educate, connect, and motivate students while providing essential support services and fostering a supportive campus environment.
Student Rights and Responsibilities
The Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities sets forth the specific authority and responsibility of Utah Tech University to maintain appropriate discipline by outlining guidelines for appropriate student conduct and to create an educational environment wherein individual students and groups of students can accomplish meaningful academic goals.
Student Success Center
The Student Success Program at Utah Tech University is a structured first-year program designed to help students build a strong foundation for success. Our students have a team of people who work to help our students succeed. We help students find their personal pathway for success!
Study Abroad
Embarking on a study abroad experience can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your college career. Whether you decide to study abroad for a summer or a semester, you will return to Utah Tech with a global perspective that cannot be taught in the classroom. Not only will you learn about another country, but you will gain a new outlook on your own culture and community.
Supplemental Instruction
The Supplemental Instruction Program (SI) provides students academic support by placing a tutor directly in the classroom. The tutor works with the professor to help students succeed in the class by offering free one-on-one tutoring to better understand the course material.
Testing Center
Testing Services will serve students and the local community by providing a secure and comfortable testing environment, will offer flexible testing hours that allow more time for in-class instruction, will strive for customer service excellence, and will generate revenue to fund its self-supported professional testing operations.
VITA Tax Prep
Utah Tech University offers free e-file tax preparation through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program for anyone who makes $54,000 annually or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and limited English speakers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns.
Writing Center
The Writing Center’s goal is to make sure that you receive personalized attention from tutors who have your unique challenges and academic goals in mind. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide targeted and accurate writing instruction at no cost to Utah Tech University students.
